Select Sounds has been on the Bedford Highway since 1994, stocking LPs across rock and classic rock, alternative, hip hop, soul, jazz, world music and classical, plus CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays and cassettes. New records are carried but used vinyl is the speciality, and almost everything on the shelves grades Excellent or better. It buys and trades too, paying 20 to 40 per cent of retail for quality used LPs, more for the scarce ones, and another 20 per cent on top if you take it in trade.
