Shuga Records is a Chicago record store and record label specialising in new and used rock, jazz, punk, hip hop, electronic, psychedelic and metal vinyl plus posters. The used racks go deep on 12-inch singles by style, from Chicago house and Detroit techno to disco, electro, italo, minimal and breaks, with 45s split across blues, disco, funk, jazz, pop, R&B, rock and soul, and further sections for country, folk, reggae, classical, Latin, international and soundtracks across cassettes and CDs as well. The label side puts out its own exclusive pressings by Chicago artists, and the shop hosts live in-store music and artist signing events.
