Shane Butler and Caity Shaffer are musicians, and Sibylline is entirely artist-owned - opened in 2023 in Playhouse Village and run as much as a room to be in as a shop. The buying is deliberate: hard to find original pressings, current records from small independent labels, experimental music, and a genuinely international spread taking in Nigeria, Ghana, India, Brazil and Mexico.
