Ska Dog Records is a family-owned shop at 946 B Street in the heart of downtown Hayward, dealing in new, vintage and rare vinyl and billing itself as the source for underground sounds. The in-depth knowledge runs to ska, reggae and punk, with northern soul, classic rock, jazz and blues in the racks too. Founder Chris has been a music lover since he got his first single, Israelites by Desmond Dekker, at the age of 8, has lived in Hayward for over 30 years and owns a private collection of over 5000 albums.
