Skeleton Dust Records opened in October 2017 in downtown Dayton, Ohio and describes itself as an eclectic and curated record store. The racks are filed in unusual depth: garage and surf, glam and prog, krautrock, post-punk and post-rock, IDM and ambient, house, techno and electro, industrial and EBM, free improv, free jazz, hard bop, jazz vocalists, lounge and exotica, soul-jazz, black metal, doom, thrash, hardcore, grindcore, funk and disco, rap, gospel, African, Indian, reggae and dub, classical and soundtracks. Since opening it has identified as a space where everyone is welcome. Vinyl, tapes, CDs, equipment, apparel and zines.
