Some Great Reward is on Victoria Road in Glasgow's southside, well away from the King Street and Byres Road clusters, and it is a record shop and a coffee shop in equal measure rather than a shop that happens to have a machine. The name is a Depeche Mode album, which sets expectations about the racks accurately enough. It is the shop that made the southside worth a separate trip rather than somewhere you passed through on the way to the West End.
