Sound Pollution is one of the largest independent music companies in Scandinavia and has spent more than 30 years establishing underground artists, Swedish and foreign. The shop in Gamla Stan has been the meeting point for extreme music fans since the early 90s: death metal, black metal, grindcore and whatever else sits under alternative. Hard rock, heavy metal, punk and hardcore are the core, on CD and vinyl, with exclusive official merchandise from the artists and labels they work with. Under the same umbrella sit their own record labels, a promotion department, mail order and the Sound Pollution Songs publishing arm.
