Spoonful Records bills itself as a great little vinyl record store in downtown Columbus, sitting on East State Street with a separate phone line just for its collections buyer. The shop runs Record Store Day the organised way: every record alphabetised and filed before the doors open, a checklist handed down the queue at 6am so nobody gets their pick snatched by the person behind them, orders compiled in line order and checkouts starting at 8am. If they sell out of everything on your sheet, they call or text so you are not queueing for nothing.
