Christian Iffland has run Static Shock Musik on Bürknerstraße since around 2009: punk, hardcore, metal, garage and independent vinyl, new and used LPs, 7-inches and tapes, with small jazz, krautrock and, in his own description, weirdo sections, plus shirts. The buying is deliberately narrow so that nobody has to dig through material they did not come for. He also runs a label putting out records and tapes for friends and reissuing old Swiss KBD punk 7-inches. Iffland rates the neighbours as much as the shop: Soultrade, Wowsville and Heiße Scheiben are all within a few streets
