Surco has been on Travessera de Gracia for more than 46 years and calls itself the most veteran record shop in Barcelona, in Catalonia, and possibly in all of Spain among those still selling new releases. It is a family business that stayed put in Gracia while the neighbourhood changed around it, selling vinyl, CDs, DVDs, books and merchandise, with a generous local music catalogue alongside the Beatles, pop and rock, jazz, electronic and reggae sections.
