Surco is a record shop, physical and virtual, run by the people who own it: Jose, Ivan and Estefania, listed on the site as the only paid employee. The spine of the stock is alternative music with rock, hip hop and electronic as the main bases, stretched wider to keep more people happy. Find it in the centre of the city, in Bomboná between El Palo and Girardot, inside the Edificio de La Pascasia, open Monday to Saturday from midday. They buy and trade used records too, and are always hunting 12-inch and 7-inch hip hop, rock, techno, drum and bass, house, soul, jazz, funk, salsa, afro-funk, Japanese and Brazilian pressings.
