That Old Retro Store has been buying, selling, recycling and repairing vintage stereo equipment and vinyl records in Calgary since 2006. The floor at 1314a 9th Avenue SE carries pre-owned amps, integrated amps, pre-amps, equalizers, receivers, reel to reels, tuners, speakers and turntables. The accessories counter is the real draw for diggers: new cartridges from Nagaoka, Shure, Ortofon and Audio Technica next to vintage, NOS and rare ones, plus styli, belts, headshells, tonearms, tubes, brushes and record wash. There is a vinyl section too, and a separate phone line just for repairs.
