David trained as an actor and spent twenty years in film, television, theatre and commercials before the records took over; he has been trading vinyl since 1997 and collecting for more than thirty-five years. The shop on Tottenham Lane is genuinely little, and deals in second-hand rare and collectable rock, reggae and jazz, with the range running out to German krautrock and obscure French folk jazz. Gilles Peterson has named it among his favourite London shops. No opening year for the shop itself is published, so none is claimed here
