Thrillhouse has been going since 2007 on the Mission and Bernal Heights border, and it is not a business in the usual sense - a not-for-profit collective, run entirely by volunteers, several of whom live upstairs. It calls itself a punk record shop and the hardcore, death metal and power violence sections back that up, but there is everything else too, new and used, on record and tape.
