Toad Hall has been a Rockford landmark for over 50 years and has called its present location home since 1980. The Naruz family bought it in 2006 from the estate of Larry and Bev Mason, who amassed a huge assemblage of books, records and collectables over a 30 year period: Larry ran Buffalo Records on 7th Street, Beverly ran the Toad Hall book store down the road, the two met, married and fused the stores. The racks run to new and used vinyl, an RSD vault, an audiophile corner, imports and unofficials, vintage sealed vinyl, used and sealed CDs, cassettes, movies and stereo equipment from turntables to boomboxes, and there is a published list of the products they buy.
