Tom Lounges' Record Bin at 218 Main St in Hobart calls itself a very eclectic vinyl record store experience: new and pre-loved vinyl, Audio-Technica turntables, CDs, cassettes, crystals, t-shirts, guitar pick jewellery and pop culture collectibles. The store was founded in 2018 by Tom Lounges, who brings over 40 years in the music business as a broadcaster, print journalist, artist agent and manager, label annotator, publicist and event producer, and who managed the single-store Highland Records back in 1977. Open seven days a week, and it has hosted live music video shoots and a Hard Rock documentary taping.
