Tropicália Discos opened in 2004 and spent about twenty years in Centro before reopening in Botafogo. Marcio, Bruno and Mario deal in MPB, bossa nova, Tropicália and Brazilian rock and psych, alongside American and European rock, jazz and soul, and they ship worldwide. They post what they turn up on their own YouTube channel and run a weekly Disco da Semana pick, so the digging is public rather than kept behind the counter. The Vinyl Factory put it in its world's-best record shops series.
