Tru Hi-Fi opened one of the first hi-fi showrooms in regional Australia in 1973, carrying what were then unusual sounding names: Sonab, Bose, Pioneer, Sony, Wharfedale, KEF, Akai, Kenwood and Sansui. Its owner dates his first proper hi-fi sale to 1969 and a pair of KEF Concertos. It is locally owned, serves the Riverina and north east Victoria out of Albury-Wodonga, and stocks vinyl records alongside the equipment to play them on.
