Tunnel Records was founded in San Francisco in 2017 with one goal, to be the perfect neighbourhood record store, and it calls itself the western-most record store in the world. In 2023 it opened a second space inside the historic 4 Star Theatre. A small shop hiding many treasures, with live events, buying and trading, and a location as far west as the format goes.
