Vassilis Filippakopoulos used to run an apartment-block construction company; he wound it up to build what he called the ideal record shop, and opened Underflow in Koukaki in 2015, which was about the worst possible year to open anything in Greece. It is half record shop and half art gallery - high ceilings, marble floors, concrete walls, contemporary exhibitions - and the buying is avant-garde jazz, experimental, electronic, contemporary classical and indie rock. It runs its own label, and Filippakopoulos will steer you towards records himself
