Ventilator Records has been the first address for music lovers in Winterthur since 2010, on the old Sulzer industrial site known as the Lagerplatz, with around 25,000 titles in stock. New releases, reissues, second hand and rarities sit side by side: 60s beat, rock'n'roll, soul, indie, new wave, industrial, electronica, hip hop, metal, punk, world music, jazz, blues, funk, disco, soundtracks, surf, reggae and dub, plus the Winterthur locals. Technics MK II turntables and a CD player are set up for unhurried listening, advice included. Brushes, inner and outer sleeves, LP and single cases and record bags cover the care side, and most of the stock is orderable on Discogs. For anything out of print there is a rarity search service that comes back with a quote.
