Vinyl & Plastic opened in Itaewon in 2016, built by Hyundai Card, and the vinyl is the first floor while the CDs - the plastic - are the second, along with the cafe. Around 20,000 records, listening zones on both floors. The important detail is the door policy: the same company's Music Library next door is open only to its own cardholders, and this is open to anybody, which is why it became the shop that got a generation of Seoul back into buying records rather than a marketing exercise
