Tony Mills spent thirty-five years in the motor trade and then opened a record shop on Kirk Gate in Newark in 2019, which is either a midlife crisis or the correct order to do things in. Vinyl Attraction serves a market town rather than a city, and that is the point of including it: the shops outside the big centres are the ones that vanish from directories first and are hardest to replace when they go.
