Vinyl Fantasy is co-owned by childhood friends Joseph Cozza and Russell Hymowitz and deals in metal, punk, experimental and the heavier end generally, on vinyl and tape. The other half of the shop is comics: indie publishers like Image, Fantagraphics and Drawn and Quarterly, with classic DC and Marvel alongside, plus graphic novels and zines. The walls carry work by local artists. It is a neighbourhood shop built for repeat visits rather than a destination browse.
