Vinyl Junkies Record Shack on Fern Street in San Diego was established in 2012 by Eric Howarth, former owner of the label Hi-Speed Soul, home to Nada Surf, Swervedriver, Afghan Whigs and Film School. It grew out of a record swap into a South Park storefront in 2017, and it aims to be the go-to source for serious collectors and new listeners alike, with a strong buying operation and personalised service.
