Wax at Moorgate sits in the basement of Moorgate Acoustics on Chesterfield Road, opened by staff who are music lovers first and had long harboured the ambition to run a record store. Stock covers new vinyl, used vinyl and cheap used CDs, plus audiophile pressings from Mobile Fidelity, Impex and Analogue Productions. They buy from the public too. Open Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 10 till 4.
