Wonder Book has been a bookseller since 1980 and online since 1997, running three large retail stores in the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area plus a 111,000 square foot warehouse for internet, bulk, designer and export sales. Alongside its books it sells movies, music and video games, and the Frederick and Hagerstown stores also do movie and game rentals. The buying counter takes all books, movies and music, every day, at the retail stores. A member of ABAA and ILAB, it was named by USAToday in 2002 as one of 10 Great Old Bookstores, and its Books by the Foot service was written up by The New York Times in 2011.
