ZigZag Records on the Untere Hauptgasse in Thun has been somebody's soundtrack for over forty years and is the oldest record shop in the region. Walter Bartlome, who has sold music in Thun for more than four decades, owns and runs it, with Stefan Lysser, thirty years in the trade, behind the counter since 2012. The shop's pitch is the opposite of an algorithm: tell them what you are after, anywhere in the world, and they will hunt it and quote you before ordering. Recommendations are written up in full rather than reduced to a sticker.
